Description
The ACTIVITY BOOKS developed to accompany the I Have A Song For You series will enhance the musical experience for the child, the teacher and parent. The carefully selected and ingeniously developed activities provide a combination of appropriate sensory and motor experiences that are important in helping the young child to assimilate the music and the ideas presented in the lyrics. A number and variety of ideas and patterns to implement those ideas are provided so that teachers or parents can choose the activities that best fit their own style, the facilities available to them, and the needs of the individual child. Use of the books as a basic resource will not only provide exciting and workable ideas, but will also spur creativity in the teacher or parent. The result will be a musical experience of cognitive consequence embedded in a social-emotional context that is fun and appropriately developmental.
